Camera Reviews

So instead of buying so much equipment and driving my wife crazy I think I will review it to satisfy my gear junkie addiction. Working at Futureshop in imaging for a few years now while I have been going to University has provided me with a unique perspective on cameras, namely why the heck should someone buy it or wait for the next big thing. The reviews will be based on real world application for the average person with a couple perks listed for the pros. I am completely biased towards Canon so the 3 canon line up will be my first reviews, Canon 7d, 60d , and T2i. Looking forward to the next Post!

Camilla and Andy Arnold Wedding

We are so excited to have just finished a full day of wedding photography for Andy and Camilla Arnold. The ceremony and reception at Fairwinds was so beautiful and you really got a sense that everyone really wanted to make this day special for Andy and Camilla. Highlights for me were the beautiful shots by the beach and when courtney and I got to spend 1hour with just the newly wedded couple. In the shots we will be posting in the weeks to come I hope everyone can see the love and passion that these two share for eachother thanks for the opportunity Camilla and Andy :)

Our New Business

Hello everyone My wife and I are starting our own Nanaimo based professional photography business, Julien Wedding Photography. while capturing the passion, excitement and craziness that comes with weddings is our speciality we also have done family portraits, matertnity ( Courtney at least :) ) and engagements. My wife and I work together as a team and as such get double the amount of pictures and angles to assure people that their special day is covered.
Well on this blog I am hoping to talk about the ins and pits of our new business venture like what we habe booked, what its been like working together and being a photography equiptment sales guy at futureshop I would also like to talk about the equiptment we use and offer a little advice to other in how we use this equiptment and share any tips we have been learning along the way. Should be an adventure stay tuned
